10. Celestial Trail V0, The Happies
A beautiful, airy line on bullet rock, peppered with small but positive edges. A phenomenal “starter highball”, but beware, a fall would certainly be consequential. For a less committing line on the same boulder, check out Heavenly Path V0 below.
9. Ketron Classic V4, The Happies
Sit start on a positive, vertical, pinch. Climb up to a good left undercling before powering through right handed slopers.
8. The Hulk V6, The Happies
A steep, varied climb with powerful movement on polished volcanic rock. It’s a little slick from traffic, but still a justifiable favorite and a proud tick for the grade.
7. Seven Spanish Angels V6, Buttermilks
The Classic! Climb straight up the beloved wall of blobby goodness. Depending on your height and style, you may want to go for the typical direct dyno finish, or veer slightly left for a more prolonged but less reachy option off a gaston. Both are fun and weigh in at about the same grade.
6. Flyboy Arete V5, Buttermilks
A very approachable and rewarding climb, this one is a perennial favorite. Sit start at the flat jug, track left to the arete and up. A rite of passage for many.
5. Heavenly Path V1, The Happies
Located in the center of the Happies, this is one of the best warm-ups around. A towering slab with incredible features and a surreal backdrop.
4. Serengetti V5, The Happies
One of the best! Start low on the left-facing flake, then angle up through dishes and crimps in the overhang. Steep, flowy, and ultra-satisfying. A must-do for the grade in the Tablelands.
3. Iron Man V4, Buttermilks
The most popular climb in the Milks! Some say you can’t leave Bishop until you’ve tried this classic. The comfortable grips and approachable nature of the climb make it an all-time favorite at the grade. Be prepared to share!
2. Monkey Hang V3, The Happies
Just like a playground jungle gym! A classic roof climb with big moves on jugs and a fun swing to finish.
1. Solarium V4, The Happies
The most popular boulder in Bishop for good reason! Climb from low huecos into a well-chalked line of pockets with big, reachy moves and plenty of beta options. Loved and hated (mostly due to the crowds) but always memorable.
